Chattanooga

This past weekend we went on our last RV trip of the year. We headed to Chattanooga and did much sight seeing. We went to the children's museum and did the Incline on Friday. Of course, being the brilliant mother that I am, I forgot the camera for that. On Saturday, we drove up to Rock City and did lots of hiking, walking and exploring. I think Rock City was my favorite part of the entire trip. Just the amazing views, peaceful walks and being with all five of us.
Saturday afternoon, we spent some time driving around Lookout Mountain. Jason and his family used to live up there a lOOOOnnnngggg time ago. We found the location of his old house, but is not the same old house. They have since upgraded to the million dollar club as well.
We are sad to see the year of RV trips ending and are already discussing plans for next year. I am glad that the babies will be a bit older when we go out again.

And that's the wonderful thing about family travel: it provides you with experiences that will remain locked forever in the scar tissue of your mind. ~Dave Barry

Fort Mountain RV park

We went on our second RV trip. We went to Fort Mountain State park. It was an amazing place. The views were breathtaking. We did a bit of hiking, apple picking and sleeping. It was fun to get away. The weather has been awesome lately, hopefully fall has come.

1st Camping Trip

We took our first camping trip this past weekend and it was great fun. We enjoyed just hanging out, skipping rocks in the lake and playing on the playground. It was hardest for me, I have a thing about routines and it is hard to break me from those things. The hardest part was sleeping. With two crawling babies it is a task to get them to stay in a confined area. One day during a nap, Amelia was caught with a bag of coffee in her bed, coffee EVERYWHERE! It was relaxing though. We look forward to our next trip.
